Republic Day Celebration
- HDB celebrates Republic Day by honouring the physically-challenged Indian Army Soldiers and the families of martyrs. Selected officers and their families are awarded each year with mementos and solatium in honour of their commitment and selfless service for our nation. The felicitation ceremony is organized in the presence of the senior dignitaries from the Indian Army and members of the civil society.
Disaster Relief & Rehabilitation
- A fundraise was initiated to support the victims of Kerala Floods and North-eastern Floods in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Both the years, HDB employees made generous contributions in kind and money to express their support in times of crisis. HDB contributed an equal amount of money raised from employees and donated to grassroots organisation working towards relief and rehabilitation activities in affected villages of Idukki in Kerala and Purnea in Bihar.
The contribution raised from employees enabled the affected communities to rebuild wiped out structures, damaged roads and clean-up wells and ponds. Utility kits were provided to affected families to help survive the aftermath of the floods.
