What Is NPCI’s e-KYC Setu?

The e-KYC Setu system is a plug-and-play solution designed to simplify the Know Your Customer (KYC) process. Created in collaboration with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), this system allows customers to authenticate their identity using an OTP (One-Time Password). It eliminates the need for manual document uploads and in-person verification. Whether you’re opening a loan account or accessing other financial services, e-KYC Setu helps make the process as simple and secure as possible. The system uses the number linked with the customer’s Aadhaar to share an OTP to complete the verification. Customer’s simply have to input their Aadhaar followed by the OTP to complete their e-KYC and onboarding.
